5 years ago today I was in labor with Cody. I had my epidural and was just anticipating our new arrival. About 10pm the Dr came in to say that he wasnt moving down the canal and we needed to go c-section. At 10:48 pm our bundle of joy was finally here!!! Cody weighed in at 5lbs 5oz and 18 1/2inches long. Yes, he is a shorty like his mama. LOL. So there he was breathing on his own and screaming cause he hated the new cold world.
Fast forward 5yrs. He is 5 today! I mean my God I just had him! Now the kid dresses himself, feeds himself, heck even wipes his own ass! I wipe my own ass..I wipe my own ass...what movie is that from???? Give up? Big Daddy. LOL.
Cody is now up to his mama's boobs and growing like a weed. He is smart, fun, laughs alot, and loves legos. I couldn't ask for a better kid. Although some days I want to scream and lock myself in a room...but it's all good.

So tonight as we take him to dinner, ice cream and to pick out a toy...I will love him, hug him, and be grateful that God brought me such an amazing gift!
