Weekend blabs

So after the puking AND diahrrea stopped with Cody, we were able to make it down our block so Cody did get a little trick or treating in. He of course wanted nothing to do with the actual eating of the candy so at least we didn't have that battle. :0)

Saturday morning he woke up a new boy all happy and himself. He had his first hockey lesson with coach Jim. He loved it. He was out there all by himself and paid attention while some of the other boys were all over the place and acting crazy. He is really into it. He goes so fast...it's amazing since I remember early summer when he was still wobbly and could barely skate. Kris and I are so proud of him.

Saturday night we went to church where as usual I got emotional. Maybe it was because I hadn't been in a couple weeks or maybe the fact when they showed the baptizims it was all young kids and teens...how awesome that God is already working miracles in these kids lives! After church we just came home to hang out. I got Cody's room almost totally packed. Got all the stuff off the walls and Kris has some patching to do in there now. I also got alot of the decor down in the house. My next room is laundry and office. The office will be the worst.

Today we had my sister's baby shower. It turned out really nice, and she was very happy to get all the goodies her friends got her. She is pretty much all set for baby. We think the week of Thankgiving might be the week depending on her bloodpressure and swelling...her ankles look exactly like mine...guess we just swell in my family.

So, after a busy day I am home and tired. My pulled muscle in my neck is really active so after a hot shower I will be taking 800mg Ibuprofen...its the only thing that helps. Here are some pictures...Cody with Robert the dog on Friday night before we went out, and couple from Hockey Saturday.
